Angelyne, photographed by Harmen Meinsma, is a cult icon from Los Angeles. In the 1980s, she rose to fame through self-funded billboards promoting herself as a brand. Flamboyant in pink, mysterious, and glamorous, she became the face of LA’s celebrity culture and the phenomenon of being “famous for being famous.”
